A dolphin was recently spotted swimming and swimming within the waters enclosed by the breakwater of Colombo Port City, with the moment captured on camera by project staff.
Widely regarded as an indicator species of marine ecosystems, the presence of the dolphin points to high water quality and a healthy ecological environment in the port city’s surrounding waters.
The CCCC project team has embedded ESG principles throughout the planning, development, construction, and operation of Colombo Port City, striving to build a zero-carbon demonstration zone and a model for future urban development.
