At Matulani Junior Secondary School in Mtito Andei, a town along Kenya's Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, students crowd around a computer screen, listening intently as their teacher, Mr. Kilonzo, walks them through the lesson.

In early 2024, Afristar donated school furniture, computers, printers, and backpacks to three schools, including Matulani Junior Secondary School, reaching over 5,200 students. More than a year later, when AfriStar volunteers revisited the school, they were greeted by this heartwarming scene — children immersed in learning through technology.

To the students, the computers are the most precious gift they have ever received — a key that opens the door to the world.
