Constructed by CCCC, the Chaibuxi Grand Bridge, a part of the Yidu-Laifeng Expressway in Hubei Province, was recently successfully closed!

Stretching 904 meters long with a main span of 480 meters and a deck width of 44.5 meters, it is currently the widest twin I-beam cable-stayed bridge in the world. It also marks the first cable-stayed bridge in Hubei where a provincial highway and expressway share the same level. Suspended over a 300-meter-deep canyon, builders assembled the bridge like a giant set of blocks, achieving perfect structural balance through exceptional engineering precision. The towering pylons rise in harmony with the surrounding 4A-rated scenic area, presenting a striking example of coexistence between infrastructure and nature.

Once open to traffic, the bridge will boost the development of tea plantations, benefiting tens of thousands of tea farmers and injecting new vitality into the region's tea tourism economy.
