Another world-class engineering marvel is born! Recently, the Ma'anshan Yangtze River Road-Rail Bridge in Anhui, built by CCCC, was successfully joined. It has set two world records: the world's first three-tower cable-stayed bridge with double main spans over 1,000 meters, and the world's longest continuous steel truss cable-stayed bridge!
Stretching 9.8 kilometers, this "traffic all-rounder" features a double-deck design—an upper level with a six-lane expressway and a lower level with four railway tracks—significantly boosting transport efficiency in the Yangtze River Delta.
The construction team overcame challenges such as complex geology and riverside operations. They developed the world's largest tower crane, completed key procedures, and once again polished the golden brand of "Chinese bridges."
Once opened to traffic, the Chaohu–Ma'anshan intercity railway will help fast-track integration across the Yangtze River Delta!
