Recently, the Sharmoron Bridge in Inner Mongolia, constructed by CCCC, has officially opened to traffic! This bridge is not only the key control project of the entire G1611 Jingpeng-Ulan Butong sectionof the Dandong–Xilinhot Expressway, but it is also the world's first bridge built in an aeolian sand canyon area. Additionally, it is the highest and longest PC beam multi-low tower cable-stayed bridge globally. Its piers and towers, resembling a sword, harmonize beautifully with the ancient Hongshan Culture, perfectly traversing the ecologically fragile areas such as the Keshiketeng World Geological Park and the Hunshandake Sandland, showcasing a magnificent picture of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. With the opening of the bridge, the driving time from Jingpeng to Ulan Butong is shortened by 50%, and the number of slow-moving vehicles has decreased by 78%.

The Jingpeng-Ulan Butong section of the Dandong–Xilinhot Expressway project spans 96.15 kilometers and is an important maritime and tourism route in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Upon completion, it will significantly promote the integration of cultural and grassland #landscapes, driving resource development and economic and social development along the route.
