The biggest suspension bridge in China was successfully completed! On September 23, the Xianxin road crossing-river bridge, constructed by CCCC, saw its closure, marking a step closer to the opening of the Xianxin road crossing-river channel project.

The channel project is located in northeast of Nanjing and will become another toll-free river crossing passage upon completion. Its key control project, the Xianxin road crossing-river bridge, has a main span of 1,760 meters, and a 263.8-meter-high main tower. This suspension bridge is expected to be the biggest and the third biggest suspension bridge in China and in the world respectively after completion. It will ease the traffic pressure across the Yangtze River in Nanjing and boost the regional development. Let's take a look at the bridge's closure on the scene!
