Baijusi Yangtze River Bridge—the world's longest span road-rail cable-stayed bridge, opened in SW China's Chongqing on Jan 24, 2022. Invested and constructed by CCCC, the bridge has a total length of 1,384 meters and a main span of 660 meters. It has a 2-way 8-lane highway on its upper level and a reserved channel for rail transit line 18 on the lower level. The bridge will effectively ease the traffic congestion of the inner ring expressway of Chongqing and boost the development along the line.
