The Kvanj-Buna section of the Pan-European Corridor Vc has made significant progress, as the Kvanj Tunnel was successfully holed through. The section is being built by a consortium comprising CRBC, Azerbaijan's AzVirt and Hering of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Nermin Niksic, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, said the tunnel breakthrough marks a key step toward improving the country's transport connectivity. It is also significant for advancing the construction of the Pan-European Corridor Vc. Once completed, it will strengthen connection between Herzegovina, the rest of the country and Europe.

The Pan-European Corridor Vc runs through Hungary, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving as a major international transport route connecting Central Europe, Southeastern Europe and the Mediterranean. It is also an important project for enhancing connectivity in the Balkans. Its Kvanj-Buna section is a key part of the corridor, and the successful tunnel breakthrough has laid a solid foundation for advancing construction of the entire section.
