Two projects constructed by CCCC have recently commenced construction: the Mangapwani Integrated Port in Tanzania, undertaken by CHEC, and the wastewater treatment plant in Banja Vrujci, Serbia, built by CRBC.
Mangapwani Integrated Port in Tanzania
The project will include the construction of two 70,000-tonne multi-purpose berths and two 30,000-tonne multi-purpose berths. Once completed, the new port facilities are expected to reduce logistics costs, improve transport efficiency, and strengthen Tanzania's role as a regional transport hub, while supporting local employment and industrial development.
The wastewater treatment plant in Banja Vrujci
Located in Banja Vrujci, a well-known spa tourism destination, the project will address the town's long-standing wastewater treatment challenges and mark the first modern wastewater treatment facility in the area.
Upon completion, the plant will have a treatment capacity of 4,000 population equivalent (PE) and an average daily capacity of 700 cubic meters. It will meet the needs of local residents while accommodating peak wastewater loads during tourist seasons, helping to protect the area's valuable geothermal and groundwater resources.
