The "Daqiao Haifeng" 2,000-ton wind power installation platform has successfully lifted the world's first 20-megawatt offshore wind turbine off Fujian, marking a major breakthrough for China in the research, manufacturing and offshore installation of ultra-large-capacity wind power units. A custom 2,000-ton monopile-mounted slewing crane, designed by ZPMC, enabled the lift.
With a maximum lifting height of 180 meters above deck, it is currently the most powerful crane on any Chinese-built offshore wind power installation platform.ZPMC has delivered over 100 cranes globally.
