Cambodia's Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway smart toll system goes live
The newly implemented toll system marks a new phase in the intelligent operation of the Expressway. This system innovatively replaces traditional IC cards with vehicle license plates for automatic identification and accurate billing. The system reduces the average passage time per vehicle from 14 seconds to under 5 seconds, greatly improving traffic flow efficiency. It also reduces fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions, supporting the green and low-carbon operational philosophy of the Expressway.
Mauritania National Monument in Nouakchott breaks ground
The construction of the Mauritania National Monument in Nouakchott, built by CRBC, recently held its groundbreaking ceremony in the capital city of Nouakchott. Mauritania's President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, Prime Minister Moktar Ould Diay, and Nouakchott Regional President Fatimetou mint Abdelmalick attended the ceremony.
The monument is located beside the former airport in the capital and adjacent to the Sino-Mauritanian Friendship Overpass. Standing 65 meters tall—approximately the height of a 21-storey building—the monument features an exterior clad in aluminum panels and marble, creating a modern architectural aesthetic. Its form faithfully reproduces the spire of the Chinguetti Mosque, with an optical beacon and lightning rod installed at the top. Once completed, the monument will be a prominent cultural landmark in Mauritania, boosting the city’s image and cultural unity.
Wharf design and construction project in Cebu, the Philippines, completed
The wharf, which is 100 meters long and 30 meters wide, has been completed. This improvement to the local port infrastructure will significantly enhance regional material transportation, industrial development, and provide more convenient and reliable services to local residents.
Main bridge of the IC38 interchange of the RA/257 project in Kuwait opened to traffic
The RA/257 project is in South Surra, Kuwait. One of its key projects, the main bridge, is 76.6 meters long and has six lanes in both directions. Its successful opening to traffic has achieved a direct connection between relevant streets.
The overall RA/257 project is 95% complete and is expected to open fully by June 2026.
ECRL completes 500m-long long welded rail 
The ECRL Section 10 project team has completed the 500-meter long welded rail. Since work began in October 2023, over 53,022 rail joints have been welded using Chinese standards and advanced welding technology, introducing cutting-edge expertise to Malaysia and training local personnel.
