Recently, more than 30 university teachers and students in Colombia visited the depot of Bogota Metro Line 1 project, constructed by CHEC, for an ecological protection field practice.
Led by the project's environmental engineers, participants learned about wildlife monitoring and took part in hands-on ecological research, including setting up bird nets and observation cameras.
During the exchange session, Chinese and Colombian youth engaged in lively discussions on the topic of biodiversity conservation.Virginia, head of the university's biology department, said the experience was invaluable and that she was deeply impressed by the project's commitment to ecological protection.
The activity deepened students'understanding of the harmony between infrastructure and nature, highlighting CHEC's strong sense of environmental responsibility in its overseas projects.
