Recently, several major projects reached key milestones:the Simandou iron ore and infrastructure project in Guinea has recently begun operations, with CCCC playing a key role in the planning and implementation of critical port infrastructure for the project; the KIVUKONI Terminal in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania was officially opened; and the Pozega-Godinjak expressway Project in Croatia broke ground.
CCCC's subsidiary CHEC is responsible for building the key port facilities for the Simandou iron ore and infrastructure project in Guinea, including the Supporting Maribaya Port of Simandou Iron Mine Ore Terminal Works, inbound navigation channel, and basin dredging. The Maribaya Port of Simandou Iron Mine has now been completed. As a greenfield integrated mine and infrastructure project, the project will inject strong momentum into the economic and social development of Guinea and the entire West Africa region.
The KIVUKONI Terminal in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania actively applies new technologies such as photovoltaic power generation, solar-powered street lights, and intelligent turnstile systems, providing the citizens of Dar es Salaam with a safer, more convenient, and comfortable travel experience.
The Pozega-Godinjak expressway Project in Croatia, undertaken by CRBC, spans 14.75 kilometers. The project is located in a geologically complex area, presenting significant technical challenges. During the groundbreaking ceremony, Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport, and Infrastructure, Oleg Butković, stated that this project is the second-largest infrastructure project in Croatia, second only to the Peljesac Bridge, and is crucial for enhancing the regional transportation network and promoting local economic development.
