Crossing the Straits of Johor, the RTS Link is the world’s first cross-sea and cross-border light rail project, with 3.6 kilometers in Malaysia and 1.8 kilometers in Singapore.

Recently, the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link Project officially started cross-border construction.
Crossing the Straits of Johor, the RTS Link is the world’s first cross-sea and cross-border light rail project, with 3.6 kilometers in Malaysia and 1.8 kilometers in Singapore. When completed, it will greatly facilitate cross-border travel and economic and trade exchanges, with a train journey time of five minutes between the two countries, as well as playing a crucial role in promoting social and economic development.
