The progress has laid a solid foundation for the following construction of the ECRL.

Recently, the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project has made significant progress.
Communication, signaling and information engineering of ECRL has officially commenced
The communication, signaling and information engineering of the ECRL has officially started with the successful installation of the first signal machine at Kotasas station. The construction of Kotasas station will set a technological benchmark for the communication, signaling and information engineering of the entire line. As the "brain and central nervous system" of high-speed railways, communication, signaling and information engineering are crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of trains. The commencement of this project marks the entry of the ECRL project into a critical stage.
The production of precast sleepers has exceeded one million
The prefabrication yard of the ECRL Section 10 is responsible for the production of approximately 1.22 million sleepers and switch sleepers. Since its commissioning on October 1, 2023, its daily production capacity has steadily increased. The achievement of one million sleepers has laid a solid foundation for the upcoming track laying of the section C.
The static load test of T-beams successfully completed
The beam fabrication yard in Gombak District is responsible for the prefabrication of 452 T-beams. The first T-beam was cast on February 6th, and up to now, 18 T-beams have been cast. The successful static load test of T-beams marks that the production will enter a stage of full acceleration, laying a solid foundation for the timely completion of the key project, the C1B line.
