Malaysia
The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project team visited a primary school in Kuantan to carry out a "Thousands of Engineers Enter the Classroom" event. The event, aimed at 684 teachers and students, introduced them to the basics of rail transit engineering, sparking interest in technological innovation and infrastructure development among the younger generation.
Saudi Arabia
Youth volunteers from the Jazan Complext Projects organized a beach cleaning activity to raise awareness among project staff about ocean protection. The effort improved the environmental hygiene of the beach adjacent to the project site.
Botswana
The project teams in Botswana took action to clear silt from several major riverbeds, including the Segoditshane River. This cleanup initiative was particularly necessary after continuous heavy rainfall in February caused flooding and sediment accumulation.
Panama
In Panama, the young employees of CCCC conducted a beach cleanup at Veracruz Beach, focusing on removing plastic waste and other debris. Their efforts significantly improved the beach environment.
Cameroon
The volunteers of CCCC worked in a community to clear discarded waste and household trash from the streets. Their work not only beautified the local living environment but also raised awareness about green practices and environmental protection among local residents.
Brunei
In celebration of the Eid al-Fitr, employees from Brunei's expansion project of Muara Port's container terminal visited SMPIHM Secondary School for a cultural exchange. The volunteers celebrated the festival with students and teachers.
Nepal
Employees of the KTFT-6 project traveled along rural villages, distributing essential goods such as shampoo, towels, and laundry powder to the villagers. They also used real-life examples to educate the community on the importance of forest fire prevention, traffic safety, and self-rescue techniques when encountering wildlife.
Guinea
The project team of the Souapiti Hydroelectric Project donated essential living supplies, including rice, flour, and oil, to approximately 20,000 people in relocated villages. This support will help improve the living conditions of residents in 121 relocated villages.
