Bridging progress! Construction begins on Bridge No. 28 of ECRL, spanning Malaysia's E8 Expressway. Overcoming challenges with smart traffic management and green solutions, the team ensures safety and minimal disruption.

Construction has commenced on Bridge No. 28 of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project, constructed by CCCC, spanning a critical section of Malaysia's E8 Expressway.

Given its strategic location, the bridge presents multiple construction challenges. Working over a high-traffic expressway requires both seamless traffic management and strict safety measures.

The construction team has adopted a "permanent-temporary integration" approach, dynamically expanding the original three-lane road to five lanes and establishing a 600-meter enclosed work zone - ensuring both a safe construction environment and minimal traffic disruption. Additionally, the team has implemented an eco-friendly"double sandbag + geotextile" system to create a green firewall, fully embracing sustainable construction practices.

This steel giant, carrying the hopes of many, is forging ahead toward a greener future!
