The Kilwa Fishing Port Project in Tanzania recently achieved 3 million safety manhours without any lost time incident, and was awarded a certificate by the Tanzanian The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.
This project is Tanzania's and East Africa's first modernized fishing port, with an annual unloading capacity of 60,000 tons. Once completed, it will drive the development of Tanzania's blue ocean economy and promote regional economic and social progress.
Since its initiation, the project team has placed a high priority on safety management, enhancing safety awareness through various methods, including safety lectures and training programs, regular safety seminars, hazard identification sessions, and a safety experience center, ensuring the project's smooth implementation.
