As part of Malaysia's power grid upgrade, an 8.5-kilometer cross-sea transmission line has been completed. The project will greatly improve the stability of Penang's electricity supply and provide a strong boost to the region's economic growth.
Peru: Initial Acceptance of the Rehabilitation and Improvement Work on the Lima-Canta Highway Expansion Project
The Lima-Canta Hlighway stretches 203.8 kilometers at an average altitude of over 4,000 meters above sea level. The project involves road expansion, comprehensive maintenance, phased reconstruction, and emergency rescue infrastructure. Once operational, the highway will serve as a critical link between Peru's eastern rainforest, central highlands, and the capital, Lima, facilitating the movement of people and goods across key regions.
Cambodia: Launch of Underwater Construction on the Chinese-built bridge project across Mekong River
Underwater construction has begun on the Mekong River Bridge, a key component of Phnom Penh's eastern ring road. The bridge spans 3.7 kilometers, including a 1.6-kilometer central span over the river. Upon completion, it will replace ferry services, reducing cross-river travel times to just five minutes and significantly improving local connectivity.
Bolivia: Groundbreaking for the Unduavi-Chulumani Highway Project
The project, located in northern La Paz Department, comprises two sections (2A and 2B) with a total length of 16.5 kilometers. As a key segment of Bolivia Route 25, the completed project will significantly enhance transportation conditions for local residents.
Serbia: Tunnel Excavation Reaches 5,000 Meters on the Tunnel Iriški Venac of the Novi Sad-Ruma Expressway Project
The tunnel, cutting through Serbia's Fruska Gora National Park, is a vital link between the country's second-largest city, Novi Sad, and the industrial town of Ruma. At 3.5 kilometers, it will be Serbia's longest tunnel, reducing travel times across the protected area from 30 minutes to just five.
