Recently, substantial progress has been made on multiple overseas projects.
Completion of Jordan' s project of upgrading and rebuilding the Al-Salt/Al-Ardah Road
The 12.5-kilometer project has been expanded from a two-lane, two-way road to a four-lane road, 18.8 meters wide. This upgrade will greatly improve transportation efficiency from the agricultural areas near the Dead Sea to the capital, Amman.
Kisangani International Airport project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), passes its provisional acceptance
As one of the five main international airports in the DRC, the project involved runway renovations, construction of new taxiways, and expansion of the apron area.
First communication tower activated in Isabel Province for Solomon Islands National Broadband Infrastructure Project
Solomon Islands Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele attended the activation ceremony. This project aims to establish 161 communication towers across 35 islands in nine provinces, improving connectivity in rural areas.
Water supply and sewage treatment project (Phase 1) in Molepolole, Botswana launched
President Mokgweetsi Masisi of Botswana attended the groundbreaking ceremony and operated the excavator himself. The first phase, undertaken by CHEC, includes laying a 33.5-kilometer water pipeline, constructing nine water storage tanks, four booster pump stations, five sewage pump stations, and installing supporting electromechanical equipment. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the region' s water supply and sewage treatment capacity, ensuring a more reliable and safe water supply for residents.
Breakthrough on right tube of the Munjino Brdo tunnel of the section from Preljina to Pozega along the Belgrade-South Adriatic corridor (E-763)
Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic witnessed the breakthrough on the right tube of the Munjino Brdo tunnel. The 30.2-kilometer section from Preljina to Pozega of the E763 highway runs through mountainous southern Serbia with a maximum design speed of 120 km/h. The Munijo Brdo Tunnel is a critical component, with a length of 2,755 meters for the left bore and 2,740 meters for the right, both facing challenging Class IV and V rock formations. The project team adopted innovative construction techniques and optimized equipment to ensure safe and efficient tunneling.
