The bridge will boost local road network construction, enhance regional transportation capacity, and stimulate economic development.

Recently, the main structure of the Bintulu-Jepak Cable Stayed Bridge, jointly constructed by CCCC and Malaysia's PPES WORKS, was completed ahead of schedule.
The bridge spans 3,586.23 meters and is a three-span, double-tower concrete cable-stayed bridge with main towers standing 88.5 meters tall and a clearance of 26 meters for navigation.
The project team overcame significant technical challenges, earning several patents for innovative construction methods, and received multiple awards for technological innovation from Sarawak’s Public Works Department in Malaysia.
Once completed, the bridge will become a new landmark in Bintulu, connecting the city center with Bintulu Airport. It will greatly enhance transportation for nearly 300,000 local residents and boost the regional economy.
