Recently, over 20,000 runners gathered on the Nairobi Expressway to enjoy the thrill of the race and the city's stunning scenery.
This event was part of the third edition of the Nairobi City Marathon, co-hosted by the Nairobi Expressway project, constructed by CCCC's subsidiary CRBC. As the main racecourse for the event, it let the runners experience the efficiency, convenience and safety of the expressway, creating a unique spectacle.
Since its opening in 2022, the Nairobi Expressway has served a total traffic volume of 43 million vehicles, becoming the top choice for local residents.
Having operated in Kenya for 40 years, CRBC has not only been involved in infrastructure development but has also earned high praise from the local community by supporting social welfare initiatives and promoting low-carbon environmental activities.
