Recently, Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State in southwestern Nigeria, which was constructed by CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC, was completed. It will improve the living environment of local residents and promote local economic development.
Ibadan is one of the most important economic centers in Nigeria, which suffers from huge loss due to flooding in the rainy season every year. Since 2014, the Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project has been implemented in phases, and CCCC has undertaken the Lot4a and Lot4b sections of the second phase of the project, which mainly includes 9.46 kilometers of river restoration and construction of river-crossing structures.
