Look, the "skinny waist" on the sea is getting a new coat! Currently, the CCCC-constructed Gaolan Port Bridge, part of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage in Guangdong, is undergoing cable tower coating work. Known as the "skinny waist" on the sea, the single cable tower's coating area covers nearly 10,000 square meters. The Gaolan Port Bridge is a crucial part of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage.
During construction, the project team utilized a prefabricated lifting frame that integrates BIM and CNC engraving machines. This innovation not only solved the hoisting challenges but also reduced the time for steel rebar installation to just one day.
The Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage is another mega cross-sea passage in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, connecting Zhuhai and Jiangmen. The route is approximately 31 kilometers long and is expected to open by the end of this year. It will play a significant role in enhancing connectivity within the Greater Bay Area and optimizing the regional expressway network.
