CCCC launches First Event of the Chinese Enterprise Volunteer Project in Ethiopia

Promoting green development and supporting the "Beautifying Sheger" initiative, young volunteers from CCCC are taking action!
Recently, the First Event of the Chinese Enterprise Volunteer Project in Ethiopia, themed "Clean Ethiopia, Green Ethiopia", was launched at the site of the China-aided Ethiopian Riverside Green Development Project, which is constructed by CCCC. Thirty young volunteers from CCCC actively participated in the volunteer service work.
At the event, the volunteers introduced the public to CCCC's contributions in the construction of the Sheger Park Friendship Square, improving downtown Addis Ababa's environment, and promoting urban green sustainable development. They also educated the community on biodiversity and green sustainability using the park's unique plants as examples.
This event not only showcased the image of Chinese youth but also highlighted CCCC's commitment to green development and its support for Ethiopia's "Beautifying Sheger" initiative. The China-aided Ethiopian Riverside Green Development Project, as a practical implementation of the green development initiative of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, will significantly contribute to beautifying the capital's environment and enhancing residents' well-being.
