To date, CCCC's TBM products have been exported to several countries and regions, showcasing the company's expanding global footprint in advanced tunneling technology.

Recently, CCCC successfully tested and accepted two double-shield Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) with a diameter of 5380 mm. These TBMs were developed for the 34,420-meter-long water transfer tunnel of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project and are now ready for disassembly and shipment.
The Lesotho Highlands Water Project is the largest cross-border infrastructure initiative between Lesotho and South Africa. Upon completion, the project will alleviate South Africa's water scarcity and bolster Lesotho's power and water infrastructure, ultimately enabling Lesotho to achieve electricity self-sufficiency.
The project faces complex geological conditions, demanding high standards for the stability of the tunnel excavation and the durability of the TBM cutting tools. During construction, the two TBMs will advance towards each other from opposite ends of the tunnel, each excavating half the total length, working in both uphill and downhill sections.
To date, CCCC's TBM products have been exported to several countries and regions, including Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand.
