Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway opened on October 1, 2022, significantly improving local transportation and facilitating economic development along its route.

As of May 16, 2024, the cumulative traffic volume on the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway has surpassed 8.09 million vehicles, with a steady increase in the number of trucks.
The Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway is Cambodia's first expressway, invested, constructed, and operated by CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC. It opened on October 1, 2022, significantly improving local transportation and facilitating economic development along its route.
The expressway encourages drivers to use electronic toll collection (ETC) and has introduced a series of differentiated discounts to attract more trucks to the road.
