This bridge, embodying strength and beauty, has become a new landmark for the city.
Recently, the Baijusi Yangtze River Bridge in Chongqing, invested, constructed, and operated by the Second Harbor Engineering under CCCC, is once again in the spotlight for its futuristic visual effects resembling scenes from the Interstellar during nighttime.
At the base of the bridge towers lies the "Eye of Time"
With a total length of approximately 3.7 kilometers and a main span of 660 meters, the bridge is a highway-railway steel truss cable-stayed bridge.
The unique water-drop-shaped design of the bridge towers reflects Chongqing's water culture. Since its opening to traffic in January 2022, the bridge has significantly improved local transportation, fostering economic development along its route and in the surrounding areas. This bridge, embodying strength and beauty, has become a new landmark for the city.
Utilizing BIM technology and intelligent construction, the project team overcame complex challenges, achieving excellent results in architecture and design.
