In recent years, smart construction has become a necessity for the green and low-carbon transformation of the construction industry. CCCC has significantly introduced intelligent robots into its housing construction projects.
The Foshan Chengtong Paper Residential Project is not only among the first batch of smart construction pilot projects in Guangdong Province but also CCCC's first project showcasing the full-scale application of intelligent robots.
During the open day event at the project site, 20 robots, including those for wall polishing, ceiling finishing, measurement, brick handling, spraying, and cleaning, worked seamlessly and efficiently to advance the construction progress.
These robots achieved a remarkable qualification rate of over 95% for polishing smoothness, and are equipped with features like automatic dust removal and height adjustment, ensuring both quantity and quality.
The measurement robot took just 2 minutes to precisely present measurement information of a room, including verticality and smoothness, a task that used to take an experienced surveyor half an hour.
The project leader said that the use of intelligent robots has truly realized their original intention of cost reduction, efficiency improvement, enhanced safety, and environmental protection.
Simultaneously, the first fully automated concrete compression "smart unmanned testing laboratory" in Fujian, developed by CCCC's Third Harbor Engineering, has been officially put into operation. Through digitization, it integrates the entire process of testing services, reducing the workload and improving efficiency in testing management.
