Recently, CCCC completed 60% of the earthwork for the Kano-Maradi rail project in Nigeria, marking the project entering the full-scale construction phase.
The project's main northern line connects Kano in northern Nigeria to Maradi in southern Niger, with a total length of approximately 285 kilometers. A branch line connects Kano and Dutse, spanning about 108 kilometers. This standard gauge railway is designed for passenger express trains with a maximum speed of 150 km/h and freight trains with a maximum speed of 100 km/h.
