Recently, the pile foundation construction for Bridge No. 28 of the Cambodia's NR10 (1551) project, undertaken by CCCC, has been completed. This marks the comprehensive commencement of above-ground structural construction for the bridge.
The Cambodian 1551 Road runs through three provinces: Battambang, Pursat, And Koh Kong, with a total length of approximately 197 kilometers, divided into four sections: A, B, C, and D. Bridge No. 28, with a design length of 530 meters and 44 piles, will become the tallest bridge in Cambodia.
CCCC is responsible for sections C and D, with a combined length of around 137 kilometers, making these sections the most complex and challenging in terms of construction due to their terrain, including roadbed, pavement, protection, drainage, bridges, culverts, and transportation engineering.
Upon completion, this project will establish a fast route connecting the coastal Koh Kong with the inland city of Battambang, significantly reducing the distance between Koh Kong and Battambang by approximately 240 kilometers. This achievement is expected to yield substantial economic and social benefits.
