CCCC's efforts in the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games

CCCC's efforts aim to contribute CCCC's share to hold a grand sports event that is green, intelligent and efficient.

The 19th Asian Games officially kicked off on September 23, 2023 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. In support of the Games, CCCC has undertaken a series of supporting transportation infrastructure and ecological projects while providing volunteer services. These efforts aim to contribute CCCC's share to hold a grand sports event that is green, intelligent and efficient.
Hangzhou West Two-Way Ring Road

The ring road, with a total length of 149 kilometers, 3 lanes in each direction, and a limited speed of 100 kilometers per hour, stands as a pivotal project in support of the Asian Games. Throughout the construction, theproject team has put in place a series of measures to ensure a dust-free construction site and zero discharge of slurry and solid materials.
Hangzhou Yunxi Elevated Expressway

The expressway is 34 kilometers long with a limited speed of 80 kilometers per hour and 3 lanes in each direction.
The First-Phase Project of Hangzhou Metro Line 10

Line 10, 15.18 kilometers long, was put into operation on February 21, 2023. Its interior design showcases Hangzhou's profound historical and cultural heritage and its spirit of openness. Its starting station, Huanglong Sports Center, offers the opportunity to enjoy five different sporting events, including football, gymnastics, and water polo.
Hangzhou Liuxia Ring Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Project

Since up and running, the expressway around over twenty venues and villages of the Asian Games has significantly improved access to the western part of Hangzhou and provides favorable transportation services for the Hangzhou Asian (Para) Games.
Jiande-Jinhua Expressway

The expressway connects Hangzhou and Jinhua, two major cities of Zhejiang Province, making it possible to quickly travel from Hangzhou to Jinhua, one of the competition zones, where you can watch Sepaktakraw and football matches.
Qianhuang Expressway

This expressway, hailed as the "Most Beautiful Green Expressway" in China, leads to Chun'an Competition Zone with the picturesque scenery of Qiandao Lake along the way.
Hangqian Expressway

Hangqian Expressway, starting from West Lake District, Hangzhou in the east to Qiandao Lake, Chun'an in the west, is a crucial route for travelling to watch the competitions of cycling, triathlon, and swimming in Chun'an, where 15 gold medals of the Asian Games will be awarded.
Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou Expressway

The expressway is crucial for visitors heading to the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium and the Shaoxing Olympic Sports Centre Gymnasium. It passes through 7 counties (county-level cities and districts), including Hangzhou and Shaoxing, and 23 towns (townships).
Fuxing Bridge

Fuxing Bridge, also referred to as the Fourth Bridge of Qiantang River, holds the distinction of being the world's first double-arch steel bridge. Stretching across the Qiantang River, this bridge provides access to the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, Hangzhou Sports Center, and Binjiang Gymnasium.
Zhijiang Bridge

Zhijiang Bridge, also known as the Seventh Bridge of Qiantang River, is built to alleviate the traffic congestion for tourists visiting West Lake and watching golf competitions. 
Jiangdong Bridge

Jiangdong Bridge has improved the transportation infrastructure in the eastern section of Hangzhou's expressway, offering convenient access for spectators to enjoy competitions in xiangqi (Chinese chess), weiqi (go), bridge, and chess.
Chaibu Bridge

Chaibu Bridge, which spans the Fuchun River, has significantly improved transportation along the riverbanks. Beneath the bridge, a variety of water sports, including canoeing, will take place.
China National Highway 235

China National Highway 235 has reduced the travel time between Yuhang District andthe central area of Hangzhou, as well as between various Asian Games venues, greatly easing the transportation pressure during the Games.
Hangzhou West Railway Station

Hangzhou West Railway Station, as a key transportation facility for the Asian Games, carries the important mission of welcoming visitors from around the world. In the vicinity of the station, various events, suchas rugby, volleyball, hockey, and table tennis, will be held.
What's more, CCCC has provided resting places for athletes and audience to ensure a smooth traffic.
Fuzheng Real Estate Development Project
This project, belonging to Fuyang District, Hangzhou, encompasses residential, commercial,and ancillary facilities. It is close to Fuyang Yinhu Sports Centre and Fuyang Water Sports Centre where various ball sports and water sports events can be enjoyed.
The Upgrading Project of Jinhua's Huhaitang Park (PhaseⅠ& PhaseⅡ)
Huhaitang Park, the largest urban wetland park in Jinhua City, is adjacent to the Jinhua Sports Centre Gymnasium, one of the 2023 Asian Games competition venues. Since September 2021, CCCC has been carrying out greening programs in the area. Altogether, the park has discarded 26,000 cubic meters of earth, and transplanted 430 trees, and planted greenery and shrubs over an area of 12,000 square meters. The program incorporates landscape art to create a vibrant garden landscape for the Asian Games.
