Latest progress of CCCC-built ECRL in Malaysia

Once completed, the ECRL will stimulate economic development in Malaysia's East Coast region.

Recently, the construction of the No. 1 extra-large pier body and the first concrete pouring of the turnout beam of the first section of CCCC-built East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) in Malaysia has been completed. These milestones mark a significant phase of progress for the project.
The Malaysia East Coast Rail Link project has a total length of approximately 665 kilometers and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026. The 1st section spans 21 kilometers and includes various components such as roadbeds, bridges, culverts, drainage systems, and the main structural elements of the Gombak Baru station. Once completed, the ECRL will stimulate economic development in Malaysia's East Coast.
