East section of East-West Highway in Algeria opened to traffic

The completion of the entire East-West Highway realizes the century-long dream of the Algerian people.

Recently, the east section (84 kilometers) of the East-West Highway in Algeria, designed and surveyed by the CCCC's subsidiary, has been completed and opened to traffic. With this development, the entire highway is now fully operational.
The East-West Highway stretches a total length of 1,216 kilometers and is the highest construction-grade and most geologically complex road project in Algeria since its independence. It is divided into the Eastern section,. Central section and Western section, and it links Tunisia, Morocco, and 24 provinces in Algeria. The completion of the entire East-West Highway realizes the century-long dream of the Algerian people.
