Ashdod Port's Quay 21 in Israel passes completion inspection

The renovated Ashdod Port will become one of Israel's most advanced grain and container ship unloading platforms.

Recently, the renovation project of Ashdod Port's Quay 21 in Israel, undertaken by CHEC, a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company, has passed the completion inspection.

Ashdod Port is located in the coastal city of Ashdod, Western Israel, about 40 kilometers from the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, and involves a total of 24 cargo terminals. Quay 21 has an 850-meter long shoreline, with the main construction works including underwater pile repair, demolition and renovation of the old terminal, construction of two new berths and ancillary facilities.
The renovated Ashdod Port will become one of the most advanced grain and container ship unloading platforms in Israel, the project will provide efficient and convenient services for the circulation of goods in Israel and the surrounding areas.
