Rehabilitation and Widening Works for Kayonza-Rusumo Road receive the final acceptance certificate

The project holds significant importance in promoting the social and economic development of Rwanda.

Recently, the Rehabilitation and Widening Works for Kayonza-Rusumo Road, which were constructed by CRBC, a subsidiary of CCCC, received the final acceptance certificate from the owner.
The project is approximately 92 kilometers long, starting in the Kayonza district of Rwanda's Eastern Province and ending in Rusumo, a border town between Rwanda and Tanzania. It is an important transportation artery connecting Rwanda and Tanzania. The project commenced construction in March 2017 and passed the initial acceptance in August 2021. The completion of the project will greatly facilitate logistics and personnel travel between the Port of Dar es Salaam and Kigali, and it holds significant importance in promoting the social and economic development of Rwanda.
