Trains of Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway make stops in Voi

Recently, the trains of the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway started to make intermediate stops in Voi.
On the first day of the train's stop, Andrew Mwadime, Governor of Taita Taveta County, and other officials arrived at the Voi Station early to greet the arriving train. The governor waved excitedly at the E1 train, saying that the intermediate stops in Voi will not only bring significant tourism revenue and economic growth to Taita Taveta County, but will also inject new energy into development of local enterprises to achieve rapid growth. He added that since the launch of the Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, towns along the route have enjoyed rapid development.
