CCCC has made contributions to the development of Qatar and the World Cup.

The 2022 World Cup is held in Qatar, the country with the smallest land area ever to host the World Cup. What has CCCC done for the development of Qatar and the World Cup?
New Port Project in Doha

This project is one of the key projects of Qatar's national infrastructure development and one of the key projects for the 2022 World Cup. The first phase of the project consists the construction of a total of 11 terminals including a container terminal, a general cargo terminal, a car terminal, as well as a land-based dredging pool, a 10-kilometer breakwater and a revetment. The project started in January 2011 and was completed on schedule at the end of June 2015. As the largest modern port in Qatar with 18 meters of water depth and nearly 4 million square meters of harbor basin, The port can achieve an annual throughput capacity of 6 million TEU, 1.7 million tons of breakbulk, 1 million tons of grain and 500,000 cars, which is important for developing Qatar's economy and improving the competitiveness of Qatar's trade with neighboring countries.

Located in the capital city of Doha, the project is an important part of the highway linking the industrial area of Qatar with Doha International Airport, with a total length of 10.75 kilometers. The project includes a 10-lane highway base, three large interchanges, one cross-line interchange, one railroad bridge, newly-built and relocated underground related facilities and pipelines. The project was completed and opened to traffic in April 2017.
Infrastructure project in an economic zone in Qatar

The project is located in the south of Qatar, about 40 km from the capital Doha. The economic zone is based on the New Port in Doha and Mesaieed Port, and mainly focuses on manufacturing and processing industries. The main construction of the project is to build pipeline facilities on both sides of four roads in the area, and to build new water supply pumping stations, sewage pumping stations, reclaimed water pumping stations, fire pumping stations and various storage tanks, as well as supporting facilities.
