The expansion project of Oran Container Terminal in Aleria handed over undertaken by CHEC was handed over to Algeria.
Recently, the expansion project of Oran Container Terminal undertaken by CCCC's subsidiary China Harbour Engineering Company received the temporary acceptance certificate issued by the project proprietor, marking the official handover of the project to the proprietor.
The project, after its operation, has significantly improved the container throughput of the Port of Oran, which will play a positive role in promoting the social and economic development of western Algeria. It has been highly recognized by the public works and construction department of Oran Province, the governor of Oran Province and the Algeria's Port Authority.
The project is located in Oran, the second largest city in Algeria, and is the first modern container terminal in the Port of Oran. The construction of the project started in 2014. The project is to build a 667.4-meter container terminal, a 110-meter revetment, a 482.25-meter slope-type revetment and a land area of 245,000 square meters.
