Recently, the world's first 10,000-ton meter-level upper rotary tower crane - W12000-450 tower crane was officially put into use.

Recently, the world's first 10,000-ton meter-level upper rotary tower crane - W12000-450 tower crane was officially put into use for the hoisting and construction of Changtai Yangtze River Bridge. It is world's largest span cable-stayed bridge for both highways and railways.

Changtai Yangtze River Bridge is the world's first super-large bridge integrating expressways, intercity railways and highways. Its main channel bridge adopts a steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 1176 meters. With a total design height of 352 meters, the main tower is the world's tallest cable bent tower.

The W12000 tower crane is "tailor-made" for the hoisting and construction of the north main tower of the bridge, which is used to hoist the 240-ton bridge tower to a height of 350 meters at a range of 35 meters. The intelligent and visual operation of the equipment could control synchronization error at the millimeter level. After many experiments and demonstrations, the project's performance fully meets the construction needs of the Changtai Yangtze River Bridge.
