The third section of Angola's National Road 100 restoration project, contracted by CCCC's subsidiary CHEC, was opened to traffic recently.

The third section of Angola's National Road 100 restoration project, contracted by CCCC's subsidiaryCHEC, was opened to traffic recently. Carlos Santos, Angola's Secretary of State and Henrique Victorino, Director General of the National Roads Institute of Angola (INEA) attened the ribbon cutting ceremony.
Santos affirmed the overall construction and expressed his heartfelt thanks to CCCC builders. He said that the National Road 100 restoration project is a key construction project in Angola. The completion of the third section has greatly improved the traffic conditions in the city center of Sumbe, and has made positive contributions to the balanced economic development in Angola.
The resoration project of Angola's National Road 100 starts from Luanda, the capital of Angola, and runs south to Lobito, Benguela Province, covering a total distance of about 490 kilometers, with a total of six section. Among them, the third section is 64.44 km long, with two lanes in both directions and a standard road width of eight meters. The project includes contruction of pavement, culvert, side ditches, signs and markings.
Upon completion of the project, the transportation capcity from Luanda to the south area will be greatly enhanced, the travel conditions of local residents will be improved, and the economic development along the road will be strongly promoted.
