Track laying starts on Mexico's Mayan Train project

Recently, the track laying of the first section of Mexico's Mayan Train project constructed by CCCC officially started.

Recently, the track laying of the first section of Mexico's Mayan Train project constructed by CCCC officially started.
Facing the unfavorable factors such as hot weather, the project department continuously optimized the constrcution plan and resource allocation, and completed the preparation work before the track laying such as the assembly and test of track laying machines, temporary track laying and turnouts laying. The project departmentactively coordinated with the owner and the supervisor to use the existing railroad turnouts to promot the quality acceptance of sleepers production and installation, and urge the off-line construction units to finish the track laying work on time.
The start of the track laying opens a new chapter of the first section of Mayan Train project and lays a solid foundation for the following track laying work. In the next step, the project team will carefully summarize the experience of the trial track laying, actively organizeother units and resources, plan ahead and ensure the completion of the project on schedule in a down-to-earth manner.
The project is a national strategic project promoted by the Mexican government in recent years, and the first section constructed by CCCC is 226 km long, linking Chiapas, Tabasco and Campeche. It is willbe completed in July 2023 and will play an important role in promoting economic development along the line after it is opened to traffic.
