Recently, the expansion project team of the University of the South Pacific (USP) regional campus in Solomon Islands received a letter of commendation from the project consultant Kramer Ausenco entrusted by the project proprietor USP.
The proprietor USP noted in the letter, in the face of the raging COVID-19, the project team faced various difficulties and challenges in the process of project implementation, made concerted efforts, seized every opportunity to resume work, and made good progress. The proprietor expressed its sincere gratitude to the company and the project team for their efforts
The expansion project of USP is located in Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands. The project mainly includes four new multi-storey teaching buildings and their supporting equipment facilities, small photovoltaic power generation systems, parking lots, landscape greening, roads and other supporting projects. Once completed, it will further improve the teaching facilities of the USP, which is of great significance for improving the education in the Solomon Islands.
So far, the project has completed the foundation construction of three main buildings, and has started the floor structure construction of two buildings.
