Since November 2021, all bidding sections of the project have worked together to overcome many unfavorable factors, carefully planned, strictly controlled the construction quality, and completed the construction tasks and objectives on schedule.
As Cambodia's first expressway, the Phnom Penh – Sihanoukville expressway project, with a total length of 187.05 kilometer, connects the capital Phnom Penh and the country's largest seaport, Sihanoukville. Once completed, the project will greatly shorten the journey between the two places, greatly promote the economic development of Cambodia, and improve the local people's living conditions.
