World Bank delegation speaks highly of Rwanda's road project in Nyabihu

The World Bank delegation inspected the second bid section of the rehabilitation and maintenance of feeder roads project undertaken by CCCC in Nyabihu, Rwanda recently.

The World Bank delegation inspected the second bid section of the rehabilitation and maintenance of feeder roads project undertaken by CCCC in Nyabihu, Rwanda recently. Representatives of Rwanda's road and bridge bureau and Nyabihumunicipal government accompanied the inspection.
The delegation inspected the construction site of the project's main line, listened to the overall report on the implementation of the project, and highly praised CCCC's outstanding performance in project progress, local employment, safe and civilized construction. The delegation emphasized that the road project in Nyabihu is one of the key projects invested by the World Bank in Rwanda. The project is of great significance to improving the traffic conditions in Nyabihu and promoting the development of animal husbandry, forestry and tourism along the route. They hoped that CCCC and the local government could work together to complete the project at an early date and give play to the project's role.
The second bid section of the rehabilitation and maintenance of roads projectin Nyabihu has a total length of 33 kilometers. It is one of the key projects in the feeder road project plan in 4 provinces and 6 cities in Rwanda. The whole line runs through two national forest parks Nyungwe and Gishwati, passes through Rwanda's largest alpine black tea plantation and 15 kilometers of natural pastures. The project is of great significance to promoting Rwanda's green development and tourism throughout the country.
