Recently, the 4# wharf project of Weda Bay in Indonesia, undertaken by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), a CCCC's subsidiary, has successfully completed the pile foundation construction, ushering in the first major construction node since the start of the project.
There are 183 pier pile foundations, including 126 PHC piles and 57 steel piles. In order to seize the golden construction period before the arrival of the rainy season, the project team organized several construction seminars to refine the construction plan, overcome the impact of the local epidemic, in order to ensure the safe, high-quality and efficient progress of the piling operation.
The project, located in Weda Bay Industrial Park in the central part of Halmahera, North Maluku Province, Indonesia, includes the construction of a 75,000-ton berth, wharf and approach bridge. Once completed, it will provide more convenient transportation conditions for the production and operation of Weda Bay Industrial Park.
