Recently, the wharf foundation trench of the Phase-I dredging project of a Iraq's new port undertaken by Dredging Group has passed the acceptance test.

The Phase-I dredging project of Iraq's new port mainly includes the wharf foundation trench, the harbor basin, and the waterway dredging. Among these, the wharf basin is the focus and difficulty of the whole project, with the length of 1,672 meters, the designed bottom elevation of -22.60 meters, and the bottom width of 8.0 meters. During the construction process, the Project Department strictly implemented various epidemic prevention measures, optimized construction arrangements, paid close attention to technical breakthroughs, and actively communicated with all relevant parties to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
