The Hangzhou-Taizhou Railway is a high-speed railway connecting Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Taizhou in Zhejiang Province. With a 350-kilometers-per-hour designed maximum speed, the line has a total length about 266 kilometers, of which Jiaojiang Bridge, with a total length of 5.3 kilometers and a main bridge span of 480 meters, is the first cable-stayed bridge in China. Worldcom Heavy Industry Co.,Ltd. undertakes the construction of the steel structure part of the bridge. The total design weight for the bridge is about 30,000 tons. The opening of the railway has enabled Hangzhou, Shaoxing and Taizhou to form a "one-hour traffic circle", which will promote the development of tourism resources along the route and help the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
