Recently, the Sunite Right Banner-Huade section undertaken by CCCC First Highway Engineering Group Co., Ltd. of the highway from Sunite Right Banner of Inner Mongolia to Zhangjiakou of Hebei, has been opened to traffic, marking the completion and the official opening of the Sunite Right Banner-Zhangjiakou highway.

Being one of the connection lines between Erenhot and Guangzhou, the Sunite Right Banner-Zhangjiakou highway is about 336 kilometers. The main line of the highway from Sunite Right Banner to Huade (Mongolia-Hebei border) undertaken by CCCC First Highway Engineering Group Co., Ltd. has a total length of about 156 kilometers, with four lanes, two in both directions, and a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

 

The completion and opening of the highway has further improved the structure of the national highway network as well as regional traffic conditions. It is of great significance to give full play to the geographical advantages of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as it borders Mongolia and Russia, and to propel resource exploitation, coordinated development of economy and society in the areas along the highway.
