Recently, the phase I of Foshan Metro Line 2 in Guangdong Province, the first full-industry chain rail transit project invested and constructed by CCCG, passed the completion acceptance.

The Metro Line 2 runs in a south-west direction, starting from Nanzhuang, Foshan, and ending at Guangzhou South Railway Station. It passes through Foshan’s Chancheng District, Shunde District, Nanhai District, and Guangzhou's Panyu District. It has 17 stations with a total length of 32.4 kilometers. As the second intercity metro line connecting Guangzhou and Foshan, it is invested by CCCC Investment Co., Ltd. designed by CCCC First Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. CCCC Second Highway Consultants Co., Ltd. CCCC Highway Consultants Co., Ltd, and CCCC-FHDI Engineering Co., Ltd. and undertaken by CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. CCCC Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd. CCCC Second Highway Engineering Co., Ltd., CCCC Third Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. Road and Bridge International Co., Ltd. CCCC Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Co., Ltd. and CCCC Fourth Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. At present, the 52 sub-items of the project have been completed, and the 32 sub-projects of vehicles, communications, signals, power supply, electromechanics, and automation have all been commissioned as planned. Meanwhile, the operational capabilities of all systems and between all systems have all passed the test.
